Directions to Pekes from London/the M25 (Satnav BN27 4AD)
Access the A22 going south, and follow the A22 all the way to within a mile of Pekes; for most of the way the A22 is marked direction Eastbourne. Pass through East Grinstead, Forest Row, round the Uckfield Bypass, to Halland and East Hoathly. Continue on the A22, through Whitesmith & Holmes Hill and at Golden Cross see the BP Station and a sign to Chiddingly on the left – don’t take that. Continue on the A22 for ¾ of a mile, and take the next left signed Gun Hill and you will be on Nash Street. Follow this for ¾ of a mile, and on top of a small rise (slow) come to a triangle. Left is Muddles Green and sharp right is Pekes. Up there for a short distance and see the drive marked Pekes Houses bearing left. Gate Cottage is on your left, the manor house and all other houses are up the drive.

From Brighton take the A27 east, directions Lewes, Polegate and Eastbourne. Follow the A27, passing Lewes, for about 12 miles to the Drusillas roundabout showing Alfriston right. Turn left up the B2108 towards and through Berwick Station and in Upper Dicker bear left towards Lower Dicker. Pass Camberlot and come to the A22. Turn left up the A22 and in ½ a mile see sign right for Gun Hill (filter to middle of the road); this will be Nash Street.
